I am a secret feminist really YES I'M COMING OUT TODAY - I'M A FEMINIST AND I'M PROUD WOOOOOOH - YAY AND IF YER DON'T LIKE IT I DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!! (I do shave tho'!)
I think it is degrading to women actually writhing semi-naked round a pole and most of them only do it because it pays better than the checkout at Tesco and they despise the blokes who watch them as well - I know (not from experience mind).

Think the girls that do it have loads of balls ( No literally) cause aside from the skill aspect theres a fare bit of courage involved. Anyway if you dont like it dont look. I find the treatment of rally virgins at some rally's far worse than seeing an atractive girl take her kit off.

Maybe... Rally virgins, don't get me started on that one. I must admit, after I got 'done' at Glencoe back in '90, I had a bit of a sadistic faze with other rally virgins after that - Though the best one I saw (and had no part in) was at the Freedom Riders rally (Cherry Tree, Whitchurch 1991) - poor buggers!

The funniest thing I find (a bit off subject) is when you go to a nudist beach/naturist club... the likes of Mrs R and me'sen can strutt our stuff without a thought or care (that takes quite a bit of 'balls' - especially as we're not entirely superfit svelte young things) yet the 'slim hotties' of this world can't seem to get their kit off apart from top co they're so shy or have got some sort of body image problem!!!

As some of you might know I work in the entertainment industry, and have done for many years. When they were at the height of popularity we used to have the Chippendales show in the venue for a full week at a time, and they always sold out (even though very few of the performers were straight, the majority were gay). I once asked our events manager (the guy who booked the shows) why we didn't ever have a page 3 girls show for the fellas. He replied that we couldn't put on a girly show because that would be sexist and as a local authority run venue we weren't allowed to be sexist. So apparently it's ok for blokes to strip off for women on a public stage, but it's sexist for a woman to strip off for a male audience! My response to this double standard was to refuse to work on any chippendale type show, and to this day I still won't!
I personally don't find strippers or pole dancers in any way sexy. If you can't get your hands on them there's no point in getting excited about them! A woman dressed the right way can be far more sexy/erotic than a naked one anyway!

Takes a bit of skill in my opinion, but I dont get it ... dont get strippers or lap dance clubs ... again esp lap dance .. very skill full .. the professionals keep you fixed with their eyes ... hardly notice their body at all .... but to sit n spend LOADS O DOSH watching pretty girls undress and dress ...forgedaboutit
and strip pubs ....lunchtime's full of dirty old men in macs, and lads that never seen a beaver !!!!

Has always struck me as strange to be honest ... from when I was young with the old bunch of blokes round to watch a porn movie thing to going to a pub with a bunch of blokes to watch some chick take her clothes off / lap dance !!!!! peanuts make me drink more not naked woman ... they make me wanna go home/ back to tent and get some

it's a tax on blokes that ain't gettin any !!!!!!!!

ps - the roudiest crowd / biggest problems are caused by woman going to see blokes stripping apparently ...... touching etc etc etc

Default pole dancing

regardless of any skill involved, i dont want to see pole dancing or strippers at a bike event, so i dont go to the events that have them, that way i avoid giving any money to any club or organisation that has pole dancers and strippers. i doubt that anyone cares about this, least of all me tbh, its just something i do, and i dgaf whatever anyone else does, however, to come on and complain that you dont like them, and you dont want the flesh waved in your face suggests to me that you have been to an event where they have strippers/pole dancers, i doubt that they were a surprise act, so assume they were advertised in the events publicity. if they were, and you still went, and then you watched the dancers/strippers, the to be honest you cant really complain. i dont want to see them, so i dont go, if you dont want to see them, i suggest you dont go either, or if you really must give money to an organisation that does something you disaprove of, then just dont watch. cant see what the fuss is myself, after all, the men arent there to watch the dancing skills, and the women who watch arent watching out of any desire for the dancers, and the dancers probably dont have any desires on anyone in the crowd of drunks leering at them, so why bother, tits and arse is tits and arse, however you dress it up, seen one, seen em all!

If you don't want to see them but still wanna go, then don't look; or if it's too hard to resist then take your girlfriend/wife...I'm sure they will keep you away from them

Default strippers

but if i dont want to see them at an event but go anyway, then im helping in whatever small way, to finance the strippers, and i have no intention of doing that, equally, if a club wants to promote strippers, then fine, they can go ahead, but not with my support. like i said, this is just my own oppinion, if theres strippers, then my cash stays in my wallet or i go elsewhere, and i dgaf what club or organisation is running the rally, my money isnt going to them. having said all that, ive never heard of anyone who refused to go to a rally because they didnt have strippers, so you have to ask would it make a great difference if they werent there? i go to rallys to meet folk i know, have a quiet drink, and look at bikes.

this thread went off on a strange tangient

Mrs R didn't like it being shoved on her, some liked it
but then some pointed out what work must go into it, so the pole dancers must be athletes, rather than strippers

thought it was about sex & writhing around looking sexy????
Not whether it should be an Olympic sport (should it?)
am I wrong?

ONe thing though-no bloke could do it

Now you see I would have said its power to women - if a bloke is sad enough to pay money to see a woman stripping.... then let them pay for it! If someone would pay ME to dance around with very little clothing on I'd do it! Unfortunately when I take my kit off people tell me to put it back on!!!

Men are definitely best off keeping their pants on! Just not appealing once they take them off!

There are a lot of women of all ages who look bloody gorgeous to me..dressed or undressed..but I wouldn't believe any girl / woman was a slapper just because she sunbathes nude or strips for money..no woman is a lesbian or prostitute unless she tells me she is...and if a woman want's a shag so what, that doesn't make her a slapper..that just makes her a normal human being...I love to see naked women..I think sex is fantastic...lesbianism is just a lifestyle choice for the time being and subject to change at any moment...and poofs are just perverts.... John...male chauvanist pig..

Can't remember... it was the one me and Grav were sat on the gate when most folk buggered off after this backpatch club turned up. They turned round and buggered off after a nice chat. No trouble or owt (Question to Grav... was it 91? my head's gone mushy... I know it wasn't '94 as I moved south then... If only I could remember which bike I had... that would help...?)

Scary thought! Those bales were hilarous... a whole load of bikers having a straw fight. Meanwhile, Ginner (RIP mate!) of our lot was there out of his skull on't poppers!
