yep we'll be there, hopefully with trike, also pixie and phil be there too, might even stretch to bringing pinrut and his pal (he likes fires and 3Bs always have bonfire and fireworks...we'll see)

another of our faves and 'must do' rallies

last year the HA had a spare rib food stall, huge mountains of delicious spare ribs for not a lot of money - hope it's there this year too

an excellent rally, ooooo can't wait..!

Don't forget the curry from the same stall, bloody excellent nosh.

As to the rally. Well, looks like my motorcycle will be there so I'd better get meself along too. Katie is lookin' forward to ridin' pillion (there's a pad that sits on top of the rack) - that's if I get some footpegs sorted out for her.

Well I started thinking I might go to this one as I could have a hotel room - no, not a cop-out but I cant sleep on the ground with the frame on my leg - if I get down that far I'll never get up!

Anyway, that was the plan till I looked at the price of the rooms eek!

So now I think I may take our big old canvas frame tent (cos I'll be in the car anyway) but I'll need some help to put it up and atm none of my mates from here will be going.... so anyone who'll deffo be there, how about you pm me a mobby number so I can give a shout if I need help? Prolly only going Sat - Sun. Will by my first rally since last October!

Cheers Doro!

Got your number now cos you texted me, dunno yet whether I'll go Fri or Sat, got to get a sunlounger or campbed and try sleeping on it! Tho I guess it won't make a lot of difference cos I don't sleep anyway - but now I'm almost off the painkillers and totally off the antibiotics I got get some drinking practice in - cos my capacity is pathetic ATM!

Thanks for the tip but that one is too low and not stable enough! Got one today from Halfords, lightweight ally frame, but quite wide and very stable, 20 (gonna be a birthday pressie from my girls anyway)

I phoned about taking my car cos I don't have a disabled badge, he said its ok if I have a broken leg.

However when I asked about parking next to the tent - I can't, I can unload there but not park there. Which means I have to unload everything from the car that I might possibly need instead of just the minimum I think I need.

Seems a bit daft that if I'm not disabled (ie on bike or trike) I can park next to my tent, but if I'm disabled enough to need the car, I can't. After all, a car doesn't take up any more space than a large trike? Thinking twice about going now cos I don't know how far away I'll have to park the car........

When u get there u may be ok to leave beside the tent. you will just have to ask....

in fact its an issue i support in an effort to reduce thefts and get more bikes back to rallies - but in cases like this it has to be taken by an indeviual case.

Hopefully they will relent - especially if ya still in cast

Thank you! Hoping Darren, one of the Manky Crew, will come along too, plus half a dozen of the Fox & Hounds MCC -2 are coming down from Boston in Lincoln to camp for the weekend.
