Default It's me

Hi everyone. As is the norm just saying hulluuuu and offering a virtual drink (alcoholic or not depending on preference ).
I've owned more bikes than I can count and have the scars and stories stacked up like most of us.
I moved to Scotland (PA35 1HN) nearly a year ago from Derby. The life's great the outdoors stunning but the bike life?? Every time I go out all I see is fully loaded tourers, sports n GS,s on their hols. I'm missing riding somewhere chatting to other bikers over a bacon butty and coffee and riding back. You guys have to be out there somewhere.
So hopefully some of you are localism and can put me right.
Cheers

I assume your aware of the Green Welly Stop. Always plenty bikes up there. Obviously a lot of tourists cos the roads up north are mega and the scenery second to none.

Yep , green wellies OK but not great for a chat most are grab n go and most on standard kit. I guess I miss the camaraderie and the variation of rides from the Midlands but also the little cafes dotted around. But I am that tourist turned local now, don't mind the tin tops easy to get by, but most of the caravans and motirhomes are completely unreadable and move in packs.

Welcome to the forum, Tigg. There are a few Hairy Ones on here from Up There! I'm sure they can tell you where the best places to go to meet up with some like minded souls. Have you got a Universal Interpreter thingy?

Welcome Tiggr2, nice to have some great roads and amazing scenery up there.
A mate just got back from holiday near Inverness and he loved it so much he's going back next year with his Mrs.

I hope you share some photos and stories of the places you visit with us?
