Default Austin a40 cambridge spares reqd

Classic 1955 Austin A40 Cambridge (pre Farina) Spares Required.

Hi all,
I wonder if any of you peeps know of the whereabouts of spares for a 1955 Austin A40 Cambridge (pre Farina).

I am repairing one that an old chap owns and was hit up the back by a young lass on the M6, the rear panel is pushed in and the bumper is destroyed and the left hand rear wing is damaged.

I have straightened the rear panel and valance and the wing but the bumper is beyond repair and I also need a back light assy its an L551 Lucas item.

If anyone knows where there is one of these cars that can shed these spares could you let me know please on a private message.

The A40/A50/A55/A90 all have the same bumper.

Thanks for any replies

Alfie

Your best bet is the "Practical Classics" forum or the magazine. that would be my port of call....

Then Practical Classics is your course to take or even the Owners Club. that would be worth joining.

Hi Yeah I do have a subscription with Practical Classics but nowt's been in up to now and as its monthly I don't have the timescales required to wait for replies if I advertise, also the owners Club doesn't have any of the parts I need in their sales and wants sections.

Thanks for the replies lads they are appreciated.
