Default Kickback Custom show @ Stoneliegh, Warks

Just found out about this show on the 16th and 17th April 2016.
I reckon we might pop down and see that

http://thecustomshow.com/

Stoneleigh is piss easy to get to from the M40 Junction 15 for Warwick or
the M6 Junction 2 for Coventry. The stoneliegh showground is just off the A46 dual carraigeway. Better known as the Royal showground as was.

Something to do with 100% Biker I guess?

I've been to a couple of classic bike shows at Stoneliegh.
I have found the place to have excellent access seeing as I can't walk too far without getting a good weave on and falling off
Just call me lurch?

I didn't see Blue, but mind you I don't know what she looks like.
But I did see the editor of another custom bike mag who came over and talked to us who shall remain nameless.

I've got some photos to share, just need to resize them and upload them to the photo hosting site. There are quite a few bikes that really stood out.
The standard of work and effort that went into the bikes is outstanding and inspiring. It was a good show and we saw some amazing bikes.

Pity it wasn't very sociable though, only two people talked to us, one whom we bought leather polish off. Some of the trade stand staff looked miserable like they didnt want to be there. A pity they didn't project themselves and talk to people a bit. Having had my own business for years before my smash I know what you need to do to generate business and it revolves around people more so than the product or service you offer. Off me soapbox now, apart from that we enjoyed ourselves very much.

We went through heavy sleet and the temerature dropped fast to 5 degs on the way home.

Hope you had a good show Mosstrooper? and anyone else?

Every bike had some smiles from us. Amazing attention to detail and great ideas.
I took almost 40 photos and could easily have taken the same number again.

The grey 125 Honda cafe racer really got me. So minimalist !!!!!!

There was something for everyone and not just one or two styles of bikes.

That 125 looks like the was put together by the same person as the G5 (i think) in the pic above and the RS250

That CX ain't bad either and may well have come out of the same workshop

Do like that little Triumph not often you see propper Triumph's these days

It's a shame what you had to say about the attitude of some of the traders. They should realise that it's the show goers that are ultimately their future customers....

I don't understand why or how some people are in business.
On the Yamaha stand as we walked in, there was a young guy stood texting on his phone as we stood looking at the bikes. No attempt to communicate with us even when he had eventually stopped texting.

I know that some of us look a bit daunting but have a chat? They might find we are pretty decent people? Mind you my little lady says I do look like I just came out of Broadmoor.
