Welcome to the forum.

It seems almost a shame to rip an old beetle apart to build a trike, make sure you can legally register it first because you may be able to sell it as it is and buy a better trike with the money..

John.

But he wants to build a trike!

Don't listen to John, Razzer, he's our resident rainmaker!

Though bikes trikes are better IMO - cos that's what I have...

Welcome to the forum and keep us updated on your build - photos are good!

Greetins frum Naarfuck!

Razzer, me ole fruit! Go and login/join Brit Chopper. On there you will find Chris Ireland, probably the worlds finest builder of trikes, see Megolamania, Beach Bastard. He has now retired but there are number of peeps on there that will give you some very good advise, in good ole plain English or even anglo saxon!

Good luck!

Oh well come to that, you could do worse than go to Manky Monkey Motors

http://www.mankymonkeymotors.co.uk/forum/index.php

- where you'll find not a few of the same folks as on Britchoppers!

have a look here , reasonable prices . front chassis and a body for less than 500 greenbacks can't be bad ..
