The only thing I feel sorry about is that only one of them got hurt. Two onto one and using a fence post as a weapon and still got beaten up.... Serves them right. What a waste of public money (around 50,000) to bring an obvious case of self-defense and the real crooks got a 75 fine that they probably won't pay.

At least justice triumphed this time.

They mentioned this on radio four this morning.

An (Expert) was saying that he thought the police and DPP had wasted a lot of money pursuing the case and that the the jury had demonstrated the feelings of the public.

Too bloddy true mate.

A mate of mine had his bussiness done over before christmas, I've seen the effects it had on him, just so some scumbags could make a fast buck. I'd happily break their legs if they could be identified. I'd buy that chap a pint for aprehending the scum and teaching them a lessonin respecting others property. I'm afraid the Police can have a bit of a slow reponce time and a bit of a relaxed attitude about just claiming the insurance, never mind that the lost income, heartache and higher insurance premiums the victims suffer after being robbed.
Well done that man, glad the courts aquitted him.

I reckon the only people who wouldn't be on his side are the rest of the scumbags!

Well done for protecting his property!

I read somewhere else that those two were well nkown in the area and people been complaining about them for ages but nothing was done by police or local authority.
