Default tattoo design

This month I hit the grand old age of sixty (yes I know I am a silly old fart) and I have always fancied the idea of a tattoo but always wimped out for some pathetic reason. So this year I am going for it and I really fancy a biomech design on my shoulder/ upper arm, trouble is I havent seen any thing that grabs me so to speak. I want some thing that makes you look and say "oh fuck", some thing that makes the shoulder look slightly unreal, false as if it is half mechanical with torn skin and looks 3D. Am I asking to much, am I being to ambitious. I know it is down to the tattoo artist and how a design would sit on my shoulder but I want to find a design that inspires me to go for it. I have trawled the net but nowt has tickled me so if any one who reeads this drivel has a design or can draw something that suits would you get in touch or post on this thread then I will be eternally grateful. I may even buy you a virtual pint in gratitude.

Trawling the net is hard to find a tattoo you need .you need to look for a tattoo artist who inspires you .you might find a design you like and the tattooist completely funk it up .a good tattooist is usual a bloody good artist as well .look at the tattooist first go and get a consultation then decide ,I'm covered in tattoos for my sins started of with really naf ones ended up with now some bloody good ones .life only comes once

Yeah talk to a tattooing first. A good tattooing can transfer your ideas onto skin, or come up with a design you hadn't thought of. Find out the tattooists in your area, see who has a good reputation, go look at their work and take it from there. 'Re: designs either you can either go for an off the wall design or something completely custom.

Mind you at sixty you aren't going to be showing your arse to many people..

i love tatts want lots more but got stuck with an ass hole of a tattooist in holsworthy a alcoholic one just my fuckin luck didn't know this until he fucked my back up now I'm left with shit tatts. me and my ex were friends with him never knew he drank so much he opened a studio and we thought noting of it. i paid over a 100 for my shit and I'm on the war path to smash his window, I now have to save up more money to have it redone. so watch out just coz they have a fancy studio means fuck all. the horse i had done in torpoint fuckin wicked i draw it but the flames are over 4 hours of pain and shit by a very drunk tattooist in 2 sittings. the knuckles have no ink in them and seem to wash out and my neck is not finished. after i had them all done i found out he was drinkin 2 or 3 bottles of vodka a day. i was a heavy drinker once and thought i knew drinkers but this guy hid it bloody well until he tattooed me. took the piss. i love the pain but that was stupid.

Default My tattoo idea

Having seen all those atttoo works we came to a conclusion that only aggresive tattoos are worthy to pay attention to. But I`m a lady, prefer womanly motives, so made one small orchid tattoo like here http://flowertattooideas.com/category/orchid-tattoos/
Have any questions? We are welcome...
