Default smaller engine-logbook problems?

Am i likely to have any hassles putting a 750 engine in my chop frame that is currently reg'd for a 1100? Its old, pre 2000 definitely. Regd on a c plate-not a q plate.
I was thinking in terms of DVLA grumbling about different tax class or something?

thanks in advance

I just put a bandit 6 motor in a gs750 frame without hassle from dvlc , just sent the book off & it came back in a couple of weeks as usual

previously i'd had to get an engineers report for sticking a gsxr11 engine in a gs750 frame, the local bike shop wrote one out & the book came back within 3 days

I wont say it will be the same for you but phone them up & ask the've have always been helpful with me

Think you will be OK 750 and 1100 being the same tax group

slim i think the tax group would be changed going from750 to 600 i know my speed four cost less to tax than my 1100

Just found this it should help https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax-rate-tables

Tax has stayed the same with the 600 (599cc) in the 750 (748cc) frame at the mo, i would have to apply to get the taxation class changed over & to be honest it sounded more hassle than it was worth

Figure i owe them a bit from when i was running an bandit 12 (1157cc) in a 600F (599cc) frame anyway
