Default Mot

Two days ago I got my Tax renewal form for one of my Honda Shadows, yesterday it snowed, last night it rained, today the sun was out, the roads looked dry, not a cloud in the sky, so I got the bike out for the 20 mile round trip to the nearest MOT centre..Yeah..right..I probably got two miles before the rain started, I got to the centre, turned into the shed and the rain stopped, MOT passed, a few words to the lads there and out into the lovely sunshine and heading back, I probably got all of four hundred yards before I got soaked again..Ok I know how to ride a bike..I just don't know where to ride it or when..

John.

It doesn't matter you'll get pissed on anyway.

End of January my last bike was down to it's last few weeks of mot, cue, brakes started binding, lightbulbs blowing on the taillight and rear wheel bearings collapsed,no biggie, I fixed the worst of it, thought I'd book the mot for my next day off - a week ahead so getting close to no mot left, then it bloody snowed, and stayed cold an icy for ages resulting in the first trailerd bike I've ever sent in for mot. Ice got in those troublesome brakes and they failed. Lucky the trailer had room for the wifes bike which did pass, better still the bike that failed passed on retest and the weather held out for the ride there and back and the snow thawed o the day I was fixing it. Probably one of the cheapest mot retests ever too, very part needed to repair came off a breaker bike I'd nabbed off ebay 2 years back for 17, just in case. Here's to another years riding, sun or rain or snow (wednesday was not fun to ride 20 miles each way to work) John you are a lucky so and so, I have to go 30 miles for an mot, each way.
