Default Priorities

Someone really has their priorites wrong with this

http://www.edp24.co.uk/news/death_cr...sham_1_1133927

That's all the life of a biker is worth, a community order and a 2 year ban.

My heart goes out to the family of the man taken so thoughtlessly, needlessly and cheaply.

FWIW I hope the old scrote DOES have post traumatic stress and his conscience stops him from having a proper nights sleep ever again. And I also hope that each and every insurance company refuses to insure him.

death buy creless driving, will insure that the insurance payes out,and the family will get due compenation,if thay had gone down a harsher rout, the case could have draged out for years, leaving a family greving, and also stuggling with the loss,of what usualy is the bread winner.if the cps try charging people with, manslaughter, thay are very unlikely to get a coviction, and the family of the victim will never get compensation via the insurance, its a hard call, but looking after the living, and the victims family is in my oppinion the best way to go,

PTSD three months after he ran someone over and killed them, 36 in a 30mph area a few days later...if he was suffering from PTSD form driving badly how could he drive a few days later he probably even drove to court and then thought DILLIGAF.

killing someone is bad..blaming them for their own death is much worse..

John.

'He said he is also suffering from post traumatic stress disorder which he said explained Wilson’s apparent lack of remorse at what has happened.'

Doesn't give you that real warm feeling, knowing that this fucking maniac will be back on the road in two years time.

I note that his post traumatic stress explains his "lack of remorse". That, and the fact that he doesn't give a shit. Seems the judge wasn't too cut up about it either. 12 months community service? Is that all this innocent Bikers life was worth?

Let me set a scene ........

Blind left hand bend near Glen Coe, motorcyclist goes round the corner at a sensible speed and meets a French driver on the wrong side of the road in a hire car.

Rider is "only" battered, pillion is killed and dies on the scene.

Option A .................. Charged and convicted with causing death by dangerous driving, heavy fine and jail

Option B .................. Charged and convicted for driving without due care and attention, 200 fine

You choose ...

It was B, because the pillion had a heart condition, that was what caused her death not injuries sustained by the crash

Once again, the perpetrators right to drive, no matter how badly, outweighs the victims right to live.

To be fair to the coppers, they wanted option A, but the Procurator Fiskal wouldn't back them up.
