Default worse day of my life

I know I dont post that often on here but am always around and reading other peoples posts and words of support, I could do with some myself now !
Today my wife was told she has an aggresive form of ovarian cancer and that it has spread! How the fuck do I deal with that and tell my autistic 16 year old about it?
Anyone been through it?
Dean

UPDATE!

Sorry to hear about your wife's illness.
I can share my experiences with you by PM if it helps.
Don't take the first prognosis as gospel, and bear in mind that
treatment has advanced a lot recently. You will hear this a lot,
but try and keep your attitude positive.

Plenty of love it goes a long way. Just being there and showing love and support helps in major ways. As for telling your child not knowing how bad the autism is then be as honest as you can.

Be very careful about reading stuff on the inetwebby thingy you will get many different views and thoughts some of which will cause a lot of worry. Every time the Docs tell you something make sure you ask as many questions as you can and dont just accept the first answer query it then query it again.

Your family will be in my thoughts.

So, so sorry to hear that mate, just try to be strong and always bear in mind people will go to extraordinary lengths to help others out, especially it would seem, within the biker fraternity.

Your family will need your strength, so don't be afraid to ask for support, I really hope this goes well for you.

Best wishes.

Buster

It was very similar for my Son in Law. He was sent home from work because they said he was too ill to carry on, a week later he was in Intensive Care, and he passed away a week after that.

I know it's no consolation but you aint alone.

Stay strong for your son he needs you. You'll also find that supporting him makes it easier on you.

Dunno why that works, it just does.

Condolences from me all of my familly H
