very sad to hear of the passing of pete(bomber) hicks. met him a few times and always very pleasant and interested in any different bike, old or new.
condolences to the family.

I never realised that he built my favourite trike of all time.

yeah Z13 , I saw it in a magazine and fell in love, I was still in school then I think LOL

I still aim to one day recreate that trike, didnt help that a while after I was in Gt Yarmouth, met a great man, Nutty Norm, went back to his gaff and he was building a near identical one in his garage, sat and dribbled over that one too

I went on the back o that one (Norman's) years ago - he was making it cock the rear wheel like a madman!

glad to hear it, havent seen him for many years, his mate was a little guy, Gizmo was his name, he was overjoyed that he had met someone smaller than him, my wifes rather vertically challenged

damn good people that dropped everything to help a total stranger, about a year after I broke down up there I took a run round that way on the off chance, he was still there and remembered me, was made just as welcome as I was the first time

them sorts are hard to find
