Default My 1200 Sporty

So picked up my new bike this morning, had a nice 160 mile ride home, and then been around locally too. So put a good few miles on it already and its averaging a nice 60+mpg

There's no history with it, and it'll never be a show stopper as it needs a bit of TLC in areas. But then I bought it to ride not sit and polish...

Its some sort of special, no idea what though, 45/100 apparently (if anyone knows, let me know). Its got a snazzy factory paint job, which its quite nice and the paint is in nice condition too other than a few chips on the front and rear fenders.

Might get around to stripping it over the winter and tarting it up a bit, but until then it'll be getting a mechanical going over and then ridden....a lot.

Thanks gents, had a good ride today. Switched the exhausts back to standard as it was too loud for 6am work runs with the straight thru's on

Will be stripping a few shiny bits off it over the next few months and generally making it more how I want it.

Probably got the painters signature on the underside of the tank too.

Oops, sorry..in that case thanks ladies and gents

Just had the pillion back rest recovered by an upholsterer as it had a tear. Now its in real leather so I'll be getting the seat trimmed and repadded to make it a bit more comfortable on long runs.
