Default Hiya potential new triker

Hiya I'm Neil

I have come to the forum to ask for your advice. I have no mechanical knowledge but have always had a dream of owning a trike and touring Ireland with it. I do not have a large amount of money and do not want a project but I am realistic that a goldwing trike would not be a sensible first option I'm thinking something like a virago. I also hope to go to meets and find some new friends. Can anyone give me advice on a good starter trike I prefer the custom type look and motorcycle based.

Thank you for your help

aha didnt read that part LOL

well then your at the mercy of someone else, might pay to just look for something thats pretty much what you want, having one built will always be far more expensive, in my opinion

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Fill in your userCp up there on the left so that we know where you are..

There was a brilliant trike in the classified section a while ago for about 1500 which had a single seat so would have been ok for a learner driver..

You don't say how old you are or if you have a full licence.

You also don't say if you know about the difference between trikes that are legal or trikes that are registered incorrectly..

Why not give us a bit more information..

Do you shag sheep...are you a poof or a muslim that needs a trike to carry his satchel..

Or God forbid, a conservative.

John.

Hi and welcome.
Please introduce yourself with a little more info
How much money have you got ?
Do you have a bike at the moment ?
No mechanical knowledge...not even a bit ? Willing to learn ?

There are a good bunch of trikers at BTW....google them and go onto the forum.
Go along to Trikefest rally (Nr.Ely,27th to 29th May)which is run by Trikes R Us, and have a look at all sorts of trikes, and talk to the owners from several trike clubs and associations.
Have a clear plan and have somebody with some mechanical knowledge look over potential trikes, otherwise you could spend alot of money on a real dog.

Enjoy.
