Default rebuild

this is my chop. i was just about to start getting it ready for the brightona show when i got a text to say some one had smashed into it. 3rd party insurance said the damage was due to wear and tear. i got a fraction of the cost of damage ( thanks C NASH for letting me do everything despite have legal expences and 3rd party admiting to everything in writing). so nearly 2 years on and this is how its looking.

yep thats my little girl.
the 1st time she helped was getting it ready for its 1st time out to mot shop. she was cleaning my very expensive paint with a spoon. .
she now helps with electrics, spraying and general build stuff. not bad for 7.

and now she is looking for a side car so i can pick her up from school

ok a bit of advice that was imparted upon me when I had wobblers like you and said ah fuck it, scrap it etc

just leave it for a bit, go back to it when your not so pissed off.

its too good not to finish off properly as it deserves

I really like the look of what you have done. It would be a great shame not to try and remedy the engine problem.

Good luck with it.

Chopper.

cheers chopperfxr.
i ordered a new set of gaskets from a different shop and they used the same supplier. explained that some of the gaskets in the pack were wrong and that even though the part number was right. the discription was wrong. he checked his stock and confirmed all his stock was wrong. he is getting me a more expensive german replacement ( no extra charge). but i got to wait for it. i have now missed all the rallies this year.

well the chop is now rusty and starting to become a total rebuild again. i used wemeto to get my gaskets. they sent me same faulty gasgets as bikebuisiness did and cost me 20 more. they said they would replace them with in a week. i just phoned them and they have no idea about the order
