Default ABVs

Automatic brake bleed valves..wonderful things I remember years ago finding my first one..magic, cut down the time to bleed a brake or clutch from an hour to five minutes..now some manufacturers are fitting them as standard...

so today I went to buy one, Halfords..we only sell recognised manufacturers part numbers now.. we have got an automatic bleed kit for 20 but there are no valves in it..never heard of an ABV..and the same in the few accessory shops that are left..Bike shops..whats that when it's at home then..

Had to buy one off the net in the end..

can't be much difference in production costs so why can't you buy them anymore..

after all it's not a cruise missile..

John.

cos if it makes it simple for the owner to do, then you wont pay their own mechanics 50 quid an hour to do it for you.
