Hi Dave nice first post, welcome to the forum..Lots of 125 riders on here, and I don't think many of us haven't ridden a 125 at some time or another.

John

Welcome ! Come in and dont be shy !

As John said we have all ridden a mixture of cc's. (and in the honourable Mr Hopkins case....bloodlines! )
I will ride, or drive, what ever is put in front of me....or I am trusted with.

On taking your test. Be confident, but not cocky, and get a good instructer that will take you on the test site to practice.
Remember you are in control of who you choose to teach you....if he or she is a twat...walk away and find another !
Most of all ENJOY !

Welcome to the forum, Dave.

You can post a pic of your bike in The Showroom section if you like. We have all manner of bikes and riders here from learners to old fogeys like John Hopkins.

Hi mate

I passed my test a while ago but recent enough to have to do the 2 part bollocks. my advice would be during the handling test dont be afraid to take your figure 8's wide, its much smoother and also when you do the straight line at walking pace bit focus on something straight ahead but far away to stop you wobbling. As for the on road test when you go from a 30 into a 60/70 dont be afraid to wind it up a bit, the examiner doesnt want to see you slowly accelerating and making cars behind tempted to pass.

Hope this helps and good luck!
