Well there was some change of venue to a local farm last year, I don't know what is happening but there is a mobile number you can phone that may or may not be helpful, It would be a shame if they have two venues and have to split the exhibits and the visitors because even if they are on different dates most people will choose one or the other.

Best wait and see..

John

Just make sure its a REAL event, and not that bastard who takes the names of shows and advertises them then fucks off with all the money. Can't remember his name or his 'club' but it has been mentioned on here in the past. If anyone can find the post or his name please re post it so the bastard get found.

Just found this flyer on facebook page. The event for the last couple of years was on a farm just past the showground.

This is not the Welsh Show of old. It's a totally different company organising the event with no input whatsoever from the previous organisers.

I thought this was the one that got cancelled and claimed that they weren't consulted..

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/mid/7400748.stm

But anyway it still means that there are two current Welsh motorbike shows in fields next door to each other and that can't be good for visitors when the exhibitors have to decide which one to support.

http://www.penmaenauevents.co.uk/pho...ikes-may-2010/

Just a thought..I might give it a miss this year...

That was the original one, organised by Steve Bennett (Welsh Motorcycle Shows Ltd).

Whoever is organising this one isn't Steve.

If they'd just left WMS Ltd alone to get on puttin' on what was a bloody good show there wouldn't be all this "What's goin' on" shit.

I still find it more than bloody strange that after the Welsh International Motorcycle Show was stopped by the showground commitee at Builth under very dodgy circumstances based on tenuous info given by the Dyfed Powys Cuntstabulary, that other folk can a: put on a show just over the road an' b: someone use the Welsh Motorcycle Shows name an' put on a show again at the Builth Showground but not be at all connected with Steve Bennett.

How the fuckity fuck did these folks manage to convince the commitee an' cops that they could put on a trouble free event when the cops had been so certain that there would be a flare up an' violence at the last Welsh Show that they had it closed down, bankruptin' Steve Bennett in the process. As far as I'm concerned it's fuckin' bullshit an' a fishy as fuck smell still remains in the air over Builth.

A lot of folks along with WMS Ltd lost a load of money due to it's closure an' a whole load of folks lost a damn fine weekend in their yearly bikin' calendar. I loved workin' an' bein' at the Builth show an' so did my family.

Since Steve Bennetts show got cancelled I've kept clear of the 'event' as it's getting far too much office politics in the background. It was a damn fine event which I'd not missed since I got into 2 wheels. Adding a rival show on the showground seems odd to me. The showground comitee decided on what seems very shaky grounds to get shot of an established event, I'd say fuck em and if I was to take the time off then it'd be to go to the farm event. As it is that weekend now sees me at the vintage machinery rally down the road in Caersws where they have a cracking car boot / autojumble where I can make a few pennies and sell a few surplus bits to clear the shed - I normally buy more than I sell though, got a hydraulic bike bench for 70 last time.

Default The Welsh international Motorcycle show

Hi all if you would like more information about the show please get incontact with barry on 07581513432, all the rumors going around about the show all i will say is phone barry and there are no clubs involved and no back ground politics, the organiser wants to bring back the show to the way it used to be.

Default Welsh Motor Cycle Shows

OK Where Do i Begin
Firstly I am The managing Director of Welsh Motorcycle Shows
I am no way connected with Steve Bennett
I have decided to relaunch the show as it was a greatly missed show
I have had all Approvals by Both POLICE and Councils
We have had a lot of stick from some and have also had a load of praise.
I would also like to state that anyone who has any problems to contact us directly rather than ruin the fun for anyone else who would like to return to the show
We have 3 charities this year in which we are supporting
WELSH AIR AMBULANCE
COMBACT STRESS
And NABD

would like to say thank you to Mr Rick Hulse for supporting us through
these final stages
headline bands including
HI - ON MAIDEN
HELLS BELLS
and many more

look forward to seeing you at the show
RIDE SAFE

Sounds like you are planning a good show (like the bands anyways), Hope it goes well for you. I may well pop in. Like I said the old event is sadly missed, but it's demise is down to the show ground comittee and Dyfed police, so all the best with your venture.

Either way the two shows competing for the same weekend clash with the Patriots MC Party in the pub, they get my vote every time.

Has anyone tried googling it to find any advertising ........ under welsh show, all I get is old "proper" welsh show items.

Poor advertising, whole thing seems a bit amateurish to me, but then again I wont do the bike bullshit and beer one either.

BTW fin ...... 25 isn't that bad actually, there's loads now charging 20 otg for good rallies
