!!!Think about it seriously guys, we have programs so comprehensive these days, that if you we're to somehow combine them this world could potentially self sufficient.

When technology has that ability it is just one more program that creat this kind of effect which we sort of have on a more primitive level. The progrom needed we be some kind of efficiency program designed to, make the computer think of ways to enhance the overall effectiveness of all programs linked to an automated operating system.

Oh yeah and then the robots they have, will turn into an age where we will have cleaners, repairers, schedualers, and medic bots. after that the robots will figure the rest out on thier own.

This T2 effect will eventually happen due to man's lazyness

I can't see it ever taking over. It cannot adapt quick enough to changing circumstances.

It's like the breaking distance on a car, the brain (soldier operating) has to recognise it, make a decision, then take action, then the robot has to decipher that and react. Too much time is lost.

And it can't play dead if loads of other soldiers from the enemy side wander over.

And what happens if the lens' get dirty.

says it can take a couple of different rifles.
just stick a minigun on it. when that thing starts firing at 90 rounds per second the area will clear amazingly quickly

This is part of the Yank military mentality, anything to avoid having to get in harms way.
The development costs could be better spent training their troops properly.
All the kit the average yank soldier has access to, but never uses it effectivly, cuz they don't get the training.

And as for being a more accurate shot...

my vacuum cleaner is a more accurate shot than most yank soldiers.

Huh! A well aimed mobile rocket will send it into oblivion before it gets anywhere near action!

Thses insurgents have dozens of these rockets stashed away! They'll see this coming and piss themselves laughing! What a waste of money!

...So when the Yank's robot soldiers shoot our robot soldiers is it still called "friendly fire?"
Or is it friendly interfacing?

Dude that would be considered a bad thing!

What if it just calculates how much of a better place the world would be without humans on it, and immediately all the robots turn on us.

After all technology is evil, half of us are dead, and everyone has lost hope forcing the survivors into depression. The bossman botman would have tons of time to recuperate losses (maintenance & building bots). not to mention there'd be tons of time for analysis and adaptation. And by the time we all form an organized revolt, they're gathered for defense of wherever the heck the main shut-down system would be. (probably the white house) And secondly they would be very tactical and organized hunters.
