Default Emergency Electic Supply

Electric has been cut off to the whole Villiage and surrounding area's since 4pm weds

thankfully i've got me Rally Stove to cook tinned stuff an make coffee with

next i need some kind of electrical supply on a temp basis for me Laptop


so here's my home electricity soloution

first you need a 12Volt Battery



A Power Convertor



oh a optimate is handy to stop the Battery on the Bike getting flat



power for the laptop aswell is a good idea



Finally a you plug the lot in and you have power



Next time anyone's missus says sorry hunny you can't park yer bike indoors show em this and say but dear its here for emegencys

lecci finally came on again after 19 hours

i can't imagine how many useless fuckwits were sitting in there darkened houses last night whingin an moaning

Brilliant!

Better still you have got a kick start on the Harley so when your battery goes flat you can still start the bike and run it as a generator... now that would realy rub it in with the neighberhood.

You run it off the power converter, thus the battery recharges itself.....Perpetual motion.

I got a gene in mi garage... Got it for 15 (nonrunner) at an autojumble, the little twostoke only needed a bit of TLC to get it working

Just remember what happened in Akira!!!

i got a dual stove fuel cooker in the loft..and a bank of batteries and inverter in the shed"just in case"...and a low power halogen heater,and led lighting..

even a small 1000w inverter will not power a charger enough to replace the power needed...

Was just my little joke (hence the perpetual motion remark) had to be a genny or some other major power source, steam turbine or similar. The Shermans have taken steam driven generators quite seriously for the backwoods as wood is easily found (and replaced) and fuel/oil is difficult to get to some remote cottages etc. You can now buy wind generators in B&Q and sell your excess leccy back to the thieving companies that used to supply you.

I wonder if I can shove a tube up me arse and sell the gas back?
