Default starter motor, help needed???

I need to get hold of a starter motor for my VF1000f2, I've "mislaid" the old one at the moment, but I'm sure the same starter will fit other models..I remember vf750 fitted the vf1000, not sure about vfr750's or anything else, anyone got more of a clue (or a starter)??
cheers all
PHil

Default Not a scooby

Bloke to ask I reckon would be twofold

1.Honda uk

2.David Silver probably knows more than honda about older models

All the best

Try VT700 and the VT750, also i think the 600 Revere has the same, in which case the NTV 650 and the Africa twins might be worth looking at.

I can measure up a ntv600 starter motor if needed as there's a project one in the loft awaiting time to finish
