Default Heated threads area

There have been a number of people asking for the password for this area. There's nothing in there. The thread count is 0.

Should a thread in here get heated enough that it needs to be moved there, then all people currently taking part in that thread will be offered a password so they can continue their slanging match away from the main area.

Should it be called the Coventry area so that all the naughty ones can be sent to coventry, and shouldn't the password be to let them out when they are good....John

I went to Barry Island once to make a delivery. I was given a set keys to lock the gate after I left!

I've not been keeping up with the news & only just read in MCN that they're threatening bikers with confescating the bikes in Wales & no proof of an offence is necessary.

I like this plan. Seems a waste to have the heated room if there is no-one in it.

Sorry mate.. but if you have a fully legal bike, and break no laws, they cannot take the bike from you. There is no law in this country that allows a policeman to do that providing you have not broken the law in any way.. i.e. small numberplate, as said on the MCN website.

My Bruv in law is a police inspector in Wales., and he says the same when i asked him this.... it has to be illegal for them to do anything..

he did say that they might well try and confiscate the bike, but if fully legal in all ways.. you have to be given it back, and can sue for harrasment.

Thats like saying that they can march into your house and confiscate it.. or the car.. or the business...for no reason..

Read the Prevention Of Terrorism act. The plod can do what they like, when they like under this law, including confiscating your vehicle, entering your house without a warrant and holding you without charge for 28 days.

The Lords don't want to do it so it may be forced through using the Parliament Act.

Do we live in a Stalinist dictatorship?

Yep.

Only if they suspect you of terrorism plotting in some way and have some kind of evidence to back up their suspicions!
They cant just pull you over, jump on your bike and go hooting off cos they're bored.
