Yeah i just filled the car up, and had a guy chuntering at me saying its gone down only 1p a litre, but yet the crude price has gone down more.
So I told him to stop moaning at me, if he didn`t like the price, don`t buy the fuel there

According to the paper this morning food and fuel prices will drop... HURRAH!

Unlike some people I desperately need food prices and fuel prices to drop... I am absolutely skint. Got fuel in the car and in the bike, cars got enough in til pay day, reckon the bike will run out before thursday when i get paid... no idea how i'm going to put any more in... I suspect I shall have to "forget" my card at the petrol station but only find out once i've put some fuel in.

Stalin Brown has openly called for the price of petrol to fall, but really he wants it artificially high so he gets his tax revenues. This countries finances are a right blummen mess and he is trying to blame everyone but himself for the recession. He should have seen this coming years ago and I rather suspect he did, but his inaction when this whole credit bubble started to grow has directly led to the bubble bursting. He is an incompetent dithering buffoon and the sooner he is out the better.

And when put like that.. in a way i'd rather keep paying the extra on fuel than they put the interest rate on my debts up any more!

Considering the current price of oil per barrel, at the time of this post is less than $80 and falling, I would like to see the price at the pump fall to 70p a litre or less. This is the price per litre of fuel when oil was last at around $80.

Will it happen? will it fuck.

Me too, but there's no way it'll ever be that low again.

If it gets that low the government will slap a 20p tax on it to help clean up the mess they've made....John

The price of crude oil was at $80 a barrel last November. A gallon of petrol then was approx 96p a ltr. Now its about that again, what price is petrol?...about 1.18/ltr! So how come it's 24p litre dearer? Who's pocketing the difference here then? Also , why is petrol always priced .09p short of the full penny? I'm always charged to the full round pound! Agian all these .09p's all add up!

We the good old publice are certainly being ripped off at the pumps. And good old Darling aint gonna complain or step in as the Treasury are creaming all this extra off the top!

Have you noticed nearly all the Chancellors that have been in government have had gray hair and/or bushy eybrows?

The extra cost is due to the fuel price rise that increased the cost of transporting the crude and now it is a vicious circle that feeds on itself.
