just a thought, (wheres legal Miss when you want her) if one gets sentenced for murder, and presumably he was the shooter, will the others get manslaughter and do much less time or can the prosecution still charge murder?

Wonder who decided to hang that one out to dry then. .. . .

fren
p.s capital punishment in a case like this, cold blooded premeditated and planned.
p.p.s hi woodster

I'm not a legal eagle, but I would imagine it does have some implication as only 1 pulled the trigger. Accessory to murder might be the alternative sentence for the others?

Just how will they ever find out exactly who pulled the trigger unless they find the weapon? Or one of the other guys in the car crumbles and sells out his bro?

sickening thing is, the bastard who pleaded guilty will have a lesser senta-ence imposed now cos the stupid legal system will take into account that he, saved public money by admitting his cowardly deed and, 'of course he is feeling very remorseful', didnt know what he was doing, cos he had a bad dream and the 'devil' told him to do it, or that he is insane.

He needs taking by the scruff of the neck and torturing.

Is he the one who pulled the trigger, or is he just in a better position to do the time?
Does anyone care, coz even 25yrs inside aint enough punishment for what they did. Unless they get locked up with some nutter who is bigger and a whole lot harder then he is!

Man pleads guilty to murder of Hells Angel

October 3, 2008

BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND A man has pleaded guilty to shooting dead a Hells Angel on a motorway as he returned from a festival last year.

At Birmingham crown court yesterday, Sean Creighton, a 44 year old from Coventry, admitted murdering Gerry Tobin. For legal reasons, his plea could not be reported until today.

Creighton had previously denied killing the 35-year-old biker but changed his plea ahead of the trial of six other men accused of killing Tobin near junction 12 of the M40 in August last year.

Tobin, who lived in Mottingham, south-east London, worked as a mechanic at a Harley-Davidson garage.

A post-mortem examination found he died from single gunshot wound to the back of his head on the Warwickshire stretch of the motorway, as a he returned from the Bulldog Bash bikers' festival.

Creighton, who also admitted two firearms charges, was remanded in custody yesterday and will be sentenced at the end of the trial, which is expected to last for up to six weeks.

A jury was sworn in today and is expected to begin hearing evidence in the case next week.

Mr Justice Treacy, who lifted a restriction prohibiting the media from reporting Creighton's pleas, warned jurors not to conduct their own investigations into the killing of Tobin.

Karl Garside, 45, pleaded not guilty to murder during a previous hearing in February, while Simon Turner, 41, Dane Garside, 42, Malcolm Bull, 53, Dean Taylor, 47, and 46-year-old Ian Cameron entered their not guilty pleas last December.

All six men also face a charge of possessing a shotgun, while Turner and Dane Garside are further charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.

errr dont most of us wear hooded sweatshirts? Does that make us all 'hoodies''? Fukkin' hope not..................
I am grateful of my hoodie when I am freezing me nuts off at a rally in the early hours.
The bowler hat is a bit of a 'statement' though I must say.
Maybe they are 'marked men' and therefore wanna hide their identity a little. I would have thought removal of the patch would have been a little more effective! Or better still,, stay away from a place that would be swarming in ol' bill who were probably taking pics of every member there anyway. But then after thier recent behaviour, shouldn't think they give a fukk!

I would be more concerned about the Mail's usage of words in the headline of the news report!

I'm wearing a hoodie at the moment.... But not with the hood up!

The Mail needs to do some serious work on their researchers/writers - that headline is a monumental cock up

I could give you an answer, but it would involve a lot of speculation and probably start even more.

Best to wait and see how this all turns out.

Yesterday Daily Mail online published a story where the term 'Hell's Angels' was used in reference to the bikers who turned up to support the men accused of murdering Gerry Tobin. We would like to make it clear that these men are members of the Outlaws motorcycle club and not the Hell's Angels motorcycle club.

Well I'm glad at least the Mail has made some kind of apology, I did in fact send them this e-mail, I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Reading it back, i think I could have sent a better one, But as usual I just dived in

Bikers descend on court in show of solidarity as six Hell's Angels go on trial for M40 murder
By Andy Dolan

I always thought the Mail was one of the papers that wasn't into the sensationalism journalism like other papers, but clearly I am wrong after reading this article. A hundred hells angels did not decend on court yesterday, they were members of the Outlaw MC. Just because they are bikers does not make them Hells Angels. The HAMC is a motorcycle club, not a general term for all bikers. It is always used in the media to get peoples attention, for example instead of pub fight, it's a hells angels war. This shows a very poor level of journalism, and if you can't take the time to write truthful articles without misleading the public then you really shouldn't bother. This article is not only a insult to the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, it is an insult to the friends and family of Gerry Tobin.

Good on yer UT.
As for the case pleas, if matey has pleaded guilty to murder and there were others in the car, that would make them accessories to the fact, therefore guilty of conspiracy to commit murder. Which also carries a life sentence.

I sent a similar one but I was a bit more graphic and called the idiotic journalist a wanker.

The Twats are all old codgers, I would have thought they would have more sense by that age. Thats the sort of behaviour I would expect from the 18 to 35 age group. One minor consulation is that Life Imprisonment is probably just that and if prison life doesnt finish them, old age will
