I can understand your Mum getting upset, but the TOMCC are generally okay about chops (at least they are now). Other owners' clubs get very upset about such heresy. I know someone who is really, really going to upset one particular marque mafia later this year...
Mr Ireland with his Indian trike? It's gorgeous though...

From what I've seen the purist wing of the Ducatista might be a tad pissed off before the summers out too.

OK, here is me and my Blackbird somewhere in either Holland or Germany on the way to the Altes Elefanten treffen last year. I use the Blackbird for european runs and for taking SWMBO about on. Apart from the hard luggage, tank harness and bar risers, it is standard and will stay that way. It now has a comfier seat fitted!!!

Here is my Triumph Trident which I bought to go on club runs on. I'm a Christian and I'm trying to join a Christian MC and they don't overly approve of the Blackbird. It will be customised further later on when I've got some time (see below).

This is my Project Trophy. I'm going to put that tank on the Trident (long story!!!) and build a new frame for this bike. I'm just trying to find somewhere to get the work done instead of behind my house.

You're changing something (your bike) just to fit in with a club.Seems a bit weird that the only problem the club has with you is your bike. Am I making sense here,or is it coming out as waffle?
