I didn't build it unfortunately. I think I'm about the third member of this forum to own this bike. As I said on another thread I wanted to buy a tidy, secondhand, large jap chop so I could decide whether I liked riding a hardtail before I put time into building one of my own. I don't have a lot of money but time is still more valuable

Kiffer used to have it, and he got it from CherryB. I don't know who built it originally but its a Dave the Frame Hardtail with hayabusa rear wheel and fzr front end

Here I would like to give Hermann a Brownie point 'cause I've been nagging him for a year to feature his purty li'l Norton and he won't let me because he didn't build it (at least that's the excuse he's given me! ). Alas, not everyone is so honest, and I've lost count of the number of times people have claimed as their own work that isn't.

Hear hear, at least give the builders the credit they deserve.

At the moment I've just lined the tank after it cracked at the end of last year, I'm stripping the paint at the mo so we can tidy it up, then it should be about ready to go back together.
Its a shame its not on the road at the mo. Its the Norton Owners Club meeting at Squires this weekend, and following a chat with one of their members I'm sure they'd love a Dommie in an ES2 frame painted orange

Like you will ever sell the Norton.

Even if it suits Mrs Hermann better...

I can understand your Mum getting upset, but the TOMCC are generally okay about chops (at least they are now). Other owners' clubs get very upset about such heresy. I know someone who is really, really going to upset one particular marque mafia later this year...

I've seen people claiming stuff as theirs a lot too, think that's despicable. What I do on my bikes,I do,what others (of better ability)do for me,they do.It may be my idea but I can't claim responsibility/credit for it.That's just sooooooooo out of order
