Jolly good

It's starting to sound all expensive tho... but yes like the idea-ish... slightly concerned that when i do my falling asleep on the motorway trick i'm going to randomly change gear if its a grip twist?

Think my pushbike has grip twist gear changes... I'd know if i'd ever ridden it

It's the repetitive gear change that's the problem, pulling up the lever is the main problem. So it's nowt to do with the type of bike, and sports bikes suit my back, no pressure on the lower back.

Right then - cost of discs and pads alone from most shops nigh on 250....

So...

Stuff what needed doing solved by...

Front tyre - warranty replacement fitting cost 18
Discs - 110 ebc discs brand new for the pair including postage on ebay
Pads - 30 from Jordan this morning
Exhaust midsection - 50 from Jordan, collecting later this week
Rear wheel bearing - nothing wrong with it, its pivoting on the top of the centre stand not the bearing.
Chain - yes the links are a touch sticky but nowt that can be done about that anyway except keep covering it in lube

So... grand total - 208 and plenty of bacon and custard

I've looked at the website of the company thats sold them, and it would appear they're not doing ebc brakes anymore, which might explain why they were on ebay. The start price was 100 and I was expecting them to go up way more than that... the pressure was killing me in the last few minutes of the auction yesterday, but it went through at 100!! Couldnt believe my luck!
