I've used them as well and they are good prompt posting the goods and generally good service.

ha haa custom fasteners! my nearest rivals (42 miles away) i was short of one item to make up a customers order and the buggers wouldn't give me any discount, i always give discount to the trade as do many of my trade customers.
so although it would have been cheaper to get one from germany i needed it fast so shot over on the bike. it was a saturday and the missus came with me. when we got there she wanted a wee. they wouldn't let her use their loo. so i got stroppy and said if she is'nt good enough to use your bog then i'm not good enough to give you my money.
result, 4 days later i got the part from my very very good german suppliers and i gave a small refund to the customer for the delay. he was happy i was happy and sod custom fasteners

Stitched me up on parts for my bike, sent wrong ones and then sent wrong ones again!

IMHO, they are overpriced and more often than not - if Mrs R's bike is owt to go by (it's riddled with their soft ally allen bolts ) - the quality is shyte!!

I also bought a horn switch from there too for mine, when I couldn't be arsed to sort out the switchgear. () and the soddin' thing shorted out in the first sign of rain, and also, it drained my battery.

Default Custom Fastners.

They don't like anybody with half a brain. They don't like anybody with any mechanical or engineering skills. They don't like anybody with the facilities to make thier own parts. They don't like any customer that has the temerity to ask for a deal when ordering a lot of kit. Most of all they don't like anybody that is in the trade and could pose ANY kind of threat to thier profits.

I have not enjoyed any experience of buying from them. Needs must when the devil drives. Years ago they were one of the biggest custom parts suppliers in the UK. They got knocked off thier pedestal a long time ago and now have to EARN thier business.

Chopper.

I had a few bits off them in the 80's but they seem expensive at the minute

to be fair i can only compare them pricewise to myself, i am cheaper than them on most parts, granted there is the odd thing i cannot sell as cheap as them. most of they bolt on stuff is highway hawk, i sell highway hawk, it comes in highway hawk packaging but from a german trade supplier and for less than i can buy it from highway hawk in the uk.

but now with our weakening pound to the euro the gap is narrowing
