electrics are so simple, I love playing with them on bikes, really very easy, just have to think about it

but carbs, now they truely are the work of satan!!

I am now seriuosly considering only building twins or singles in future as I am so sick of building bikes that I cant get to run right etc

nearest rolling road is 200+ mile round trip, and not exactly cheap

good luck with it anyway Creature, wish you all the best with it,

Default Rolling road.

Hey Tony

The nearest rolling road to you is actuallually two doors down from my workshop. Not too far from you mate. Plus I have all the kit to make adjustments and vacuum guages for singles, twins and in line fours.

Let me know if you want to come up.

Chopper.

I've used S&Bs on the 550 for mebbe 6-7 years and had no problems with,or attributed to,them.Been out in some hellishly wet weather (filters open to the elements) and she's run fine.

not many shops in spalding - 1 to be presise and they want 15.00 each and not got any in stock or able to get any for approx 7 days,.......
costs around 6.00 in car to goto peterboro and parking fees as well - have asked for special delivery (next day) and they asking 50.00 - so will go that way.

now just spent the road tax for her but as i cant ride her at mo not an issue - the current tax runds out end of month so at least will cover the spalding show

Think I've got a second hand spare set kicking around the workshop.

And there's no parking fees at bikes trikes n stuff who would be the best bet for a set of those in Peterboro!

took her out for a spin today with lager jets and k&n style filters

only managed 4 miles justy a few short of were she would konk out before but already better pulls better to 60mph and thenhits a flat spot - not confident enough to try n push her thru at mo (still need to get rear brake sorted )

Chopperfx - were abouts and how much for the rolling road ??? would probally bring her over in van as unable to ride to far until i get forwards on her
