Default Info needed on Paul Hillock MRA

I would appreciate any info bad experiences any clubs or rally goers have had with Paul Hillock or an organisation called the Motor cycle riders association.
We run an Events Venue during the summer months in Mid Wales next to the Royal Welsh Showground,we had hosted for local bike clubs severall succesfull bike rallies in the past, the local bike clubs did not want the use of the venue during 2006,during the earlier part of 2006 we were contacted by Paul Hillock saying he represented the MRA in fact he was the chairman and they would be intrested in running severall rallies a year at our venue ,we had a meeting where we were presented with a folder of past events he had organised ,the first one he wanted to do would be August bank holiday 2007 ,he had put together a line up of 29 bands including dr feelgood and dr and the medics to appear,he told us to hire a generator staging and other kit and would refund us at the time of the rally,as we understand it he took quite a lot of prebookings for camping,on the days leading up to the rally we did not see Paul Hillock until Thursday morning his car had broken down on route he does not own a mobile phone and had to walk four miles through the wonderfull welsh countryside,he arrived on site stayed for a couple of hours then left us an envelope containing all the cheques for the bands,we were left to run the event ourselves if it werent for some cracking people the rally would nothave got of the ground many thanks to the Salutation Mc Karl and everyone else who helped out you were the only good things to come out of that weekend.
By the way all the cheques bounced including ours any info would be appreciated

if anyone finds him, Motorsickle would be more than happy to film any confrontations and publish them worldwide to ensure his reputation as a business man is knackered .. Edit - Should it be proven unequivocally that he has defrauded/deceived for personal gain.

Thanks for the info will get on to the administrator first thing and get it removed,we normally check the website and update regulary but we have had a lot of crap to deal with this year and he is part of it.the western warrior was to have been the next rally he was going to organise after the bank holiday as soon as we seen what was going on we cancelled all dealings with him and his club we are now looking to pursue through trading standards and small claims

Best of luck, you could do worse than to contacxt those above, and print replys help with your case. Its annoying to all concerned as its hard enough to find good venues, and likewise annoying when someone poaches and ruins the good name of a recently defunct rally.

Thanks for all the info it will be a big help, hopefully it can stop this happening again bastard.
Reguarding the hire of Gen,the arangement was made on trust before you think it (MUGS).
We agreed we would hire from our usual suppliers obviously at a reduced rate as we provide them with a lot of other business as we do other rallies and dances throughout the Year for Young Farmers clubs ect.
We would provide the same for other bike clubs in the future because not every apple in the barrell is a dirty rotten conning bastard

You might think that, but I couldn't possibly comment.

Especially as a nice map of where he lives is on here.

The same way that some bike builders continue to get away with ripping people off.

Well two choices now, you have all his details and even a picture, take it to the Police with all the reports and info from other victims and bounced cheques and let them do him for whatever.

OR

get together and go have a 'word' in his shell like.

Years ago someone like this would be black and blue by now but no, where all to fecking soft. I blame all these teddy bear runs and fluffy bunny ride outs.

Simon I think he is the only member of the MRA in this country as he was the only one who turned up to organise an event where he had booked 29 bands. Is there such an organisation as the MRA,all paperwork which I have that was given to us by him, only relate to him being chairman and his address and phone number.
As for the other bit cant say to much on here
