Default triple s chains !!!

for any1 thinking of using triple s chains, look at the picture below,
was on my way to work this morn, went to pull away from junction, then "bang" chain snapped ! this is the second 1 of these chains ive had snap, the 1 on my fj1200 did exactly the same thing

Check where the breather of your battery comes out, that happens if battery acid gets on them.

battery breather is on other side, well away from chain, just crapo chains !

says you who forgot to weld up his tank I had a similar experience with my divvy and an X ring chain a few years back. the shop were really understanding and actually sent the chain back to the manufacturers.

actually, i didnt forget to weld the tank, i just tried to rush the job, but this is completely different, this is down to general bollox on the part of whoever make these chains, most likely some sweat shop in china, so now need replace it with a d.i.d., or regina chain !

what size chain?
i have some ek x ring ones to clear.
ek have a tensile strength of 9300 lbs

530, 122 links was thinking about using another soft link to replace the broken 1, but if its broke once, dont want risk it going again while im moving what price you asking ?

Bit touchy about the welding business aren't you .. .like I said I had a similar thing with a chain.

there is a 112 link ek 530 mvxz quadra ring i could rivit 10 links from another of the same chains that i use to extend. total price inc shipping £48.00. costs me£9.00 to ship a chain of that weight. plus see my reply in the classifieds
