Default bulls head ncc pics and review

There was more bikes to shoot but these where what I liked.

The 900r/1000rx machines I wanted to shoot didn't show this time.

You could trip over harleys in any direction. Most looked ok but I couldn't imagine owning/riding/cleaning it regular.

Bit disapointed,if I'm being honest. This time seemed the ncc kept to themselves in little cliques. As did the outlaws and sevreal side patch groups. Not as friendly as last time and the average age had gone up by ten years.

Seemed a lot of the locals hadn't gone to the pub cuz they couldn't park I presume.I hope that is why anyway.

Because of the weather,I guess, there were more rods and fewer bikes. Both of which looked the b*llix incidentally

Perhaps we turned up to late at 8.30pm I thought it would be in full swing. It seemed half as many.Going to give it one more go next month,if the attitude is decidedly righteous they can keep it.Seemed like a club event and outsiders are excluded which is an exact opposite of the first one-WEIRD!!

Could of just been me having a bad day.Have to see next time.

Drew

I'll try and get up next month too - it was like a monsoon here by 7pm last night so knocked the idea on the head.

right then,im afraid i cant do anything about the harleys, people ride what they want!!
its a chopper, hot rod, classic weeknight meet it was put on by us chopper club leic's to try and promote choppers, customs etc in what was once one of the best counties in the country for bike building.
the weather is out of my control and has been remarkably good for chopper club events,as for us being in cliques and keeping to ourselves did you go and talk to anyone??we wont ignore you,we are willing to talk to anyone that is in to choppers in fact thats all we talk about.i think i spent some time chatting with you in the bar last time didnt i??
its not a club only event and all are welcome, ill try to get some warmer weather next time, come and talk to us.

Default re negative vibes by yours truely

From the first time I heard about the ncc thing at the bulls head I have tried to support it,the best I can.Advertising it on here seemed like a step forward.Locally I have not seen any fliers knocking about which is a shame.

I appreciate the fact that ncc members are protective/loyal that's how it should be.I only offered my opinion.

Harleys are fine and the weather does what it will.Socially, I'm up there with gengis khan so perhaps I was having an off day,and folks steered clear of me-what's personal hygein?(sp?).

Bikes and cars looked smart.Much smarter than the phots I took-come along and see for yourselves

In summary.I make no apologies for having a view,or expressing it.It was a generalization not aimed at any one person,or club for that matter.

See you next time

Drew

Absolutely fair enough Drew, and I don't think anyone took the slightest offence at you reporting how you found the event as you found it this week. These things do change from month to month - one month there might be loads of people there, the next fewer (especially with the current summer weather!) and the atmosphere changes. You've made a point of promoting the Chop & Rod night here which is brilliant, but if you didn't enjoy the second as much as the first there's no point lying to everyone and saying it was great, so fair dues to you, chap. And fair dues for saying you'd go again anyway.

And Harleys? Well, they're everywhere!
