Default Show in Bristol This Saturday.

Hi Folks... I know it's leaving it a bit late but...this Saturday (12th July) my club is putting on a 'Bikes and Bands' day in Bristol.

It is being held at The Park Centre in Knowle from 12.00 - 21.30 with an 'After Show' party about a mile away till 1 a.m.

There is a bike show with trophies for Best Custom, Rat, Sports and Trike plus 7 live bands (couldn't find any dead ones!) including Live Zeppelin - one of the best Led Zep tribute bands around. Loads of other biker related malarkey going on as well for a measley 3 (under 10's free).

For more details check out http://www.wysiwyg-rc.co.uk in the 'events' section.

By the way - it aint gonna rain !!

Hopefully see some of you there! - ask for Fido when you turn up and I'll come and say 'Hi'.

'nuff said !

I'll be there as i am having a stand to show off my stuff... ooerrr missus... (no gay bushes for me thanks!!!).

Best sports.... never heard of that one before, best i take the Blade then , i wasnt going to bother as it isnt in my paint yet and i only live at the bottom of the hill and the XJR is getting a new out fit..

Live Zepplin... best tribute i have heard in a long time, for a bunch of youngsters they blew me away with the accuracy of the playing... , Stairway to heaven was the real test, so many bands crucify that song.. but they rocked.. !

Mmm... Fido... we must have met... i am shite with names though remember a face but names... pphhaa... !

You may be mistaken my friend, it could be disappearing behind bushes or..........hang on a minute, they dont have any bushes in Knowle so it may be safe.

Bit nosey aincha... !!

The show is located in what used to be Marywood girls school (i think) on Daventry Rd, it is now a community center called The Park, off Daventry Rd there is a hill that runs down to St Johns Lane, well i live at the bottom of that hill.

Yes Broadwalk is still there, and it is still down town for the westers , the Talbot is now a Chinese restaurant, Gaiety Cinema is now gone and an old peoples home has been built, the Red Lion pub is houses and my workshop is directly behind the shops at the top of Red lion hill.

Got there @ about 8.15 after walking a mile in the pissing rain and they were just packing everything up.

Ended up down the Reckless, decent band on in there.

Yeah it kind of fizzled out, so we ended up watching Live Zepplin at the Albert Inn then the Dead head dolls after, they were good too.
