Isnt it wonderfull when you do a job on your bike and it all works out right...
I normally think that a spanners for removing 50 pence pieces from yorkshiremens hands, so it was with a bit of trepidation that I opened the toybox (toolbox)

I then stripped down the diff on my trike, all in all only took me four hours ?? (which I think was ok as I've never done it before) cleaned up the casings, resealed it, and filled her up with hypoid 90. lo and behold, a non leaky diff seal...

tookit out to carbeth ( a bikey pub in the country outside glasgow) for a roadtest and its still as dry as a witches tit....ohh joy...

my advice to anyone with a problem with thier bike/trike is ...gie it a go..

right then, must head out for a wee tootle about while the weathers still nice....

Someone nip round and throw some oil under it....

I once rebuilt a Z9 in my mates kitchen in a weekend and found a piston oil ring on the floor as we wheeled her out, nearly had a fecking heart attack until I noticed my mate grinning......

i rebuild my geargox on a old motor once after 2 days of laying in the snow eventally got it finished at 10-00pm get in start her up found i had now clutch

after another hour of checking the box and making adjustments the misses walks out holding the push rod for the clutch saying i found this in the kitchen wondered if you needed it.
to say i wanted to throttle her was an understatement. she had took it upon her self to help out and fought it needed cleaning.
