why not, harleys are in it.
cant see a problem if they are genuine, down to earth 'fighters with attitude.
definately not the 'i've put renthals, twin spots and a race can on my bandit' 'fighters, or the 'ive spent £15k on a turbo, ohlins and a paint job, but my chicken stripes are still 3" wide' type.
but thats just my opinion........

No 'streetfighters'?!

Jeez.

So - no harleys, sfighters, big buck machines .... you're going to be pushed for feature bikes I think Nik

So - because they are covered by Streetfighters, they shouldnt be covered in any other mag? That was you're saying?

How many people who buy 100% also buy SF?

surely it depends on were you want you mag to go.

Im for all bikes as long as they are built at home, i dont wanna read about the check book or credit card brigade. not even particually keen on bikes modified by using 100% prebuilt parts - altho have seen a few that have been really nicely done.

a street fighter yeah sure - providing its not just a few bolt on goodies or just outa everybodys finacial reach - after all all us people who mod there bikes - like looking at bikes and often may be copied or even the start of an idea.

i remember the crap that Pat got for featuring the chop sccot that one last years nabd - why not if you saw it in the flesh and spoke to the owner/builder you couldnt fail to be impressed - even more so was teh milage he does on it....

I like your style tho for asking 1st - im not sure if your gonna get a clear answer tho

Not at all, but that area is already covered....dont mind a smattering every now & then in 100% but just dont want it a regular thing....if I wanna look at them I will buy streetfighters mag, or scooter monthly, pedal cycle weekly or whatever...........

You stop covering em, I stop buying it...

Don't get me wrong, as has been said, I don't wanna see someone's 20K machine that never gets ridden, regardless of style, Harley, Fighter, whatever.

but to see a nicebike that someone's built through hard work and ingenuity, well, that's different, we can all relate to that. Dunno anyone that can relate to throwing 20K at a bike and only riding it on sunny sundays.

So yeah, if it's interesting, well built of ANY style, then put it in.

100% is, (i think), more of a grassroots mag, kinda where BSH used to be 15odd years ago. (not a critisism blue!). it fills a niche and is all the better for it.
sure, put some 'unobtainable' stuff if now and again, of any make/style, for inspiration/interest, but keep it mostly 'real world'.
BSH has a higher %age of 'show' bikes, and its nice to have the option to buy both/either.
streetfighters only showing 'fighters can only limit its appeal, as per 'heavy duty' and its ilk, and look where they ended up.
best to have a bit of everything, Nik.

Nik,

I'm quite happy with whatever you put in it... anything with a story. I don't mind a big $'s bike as long as thetre is a story to it.. that Ducati recently was purely for that builder to get onto the world stage.. fair play and what an effort.

The beemer chop that the guy had kept since the 70's much cooler and with a good story to boot... the survivist a couple of issues ago .. again the story matched the bike.

it's the magazines that just list parts and where they were bought/who machined what that get on my tit's .. no personality (america journo's usually)

100% biker should cover 100% bikes, possibly from the peds to the massive buck jobs

Isnt a street fighter a custom or customised bike?

I say yes, after all it means a greater variety of bikes featured and not so much of the "samey" harley bikes

streetfighters should be in the mag.. its 100% Biker isn't it?

Just because you get some blinkered folk moaning like feck every fecking month that you have shown another harley.. don't let those same folk stop you featuring any bike that worthy..

The mag surely should represent whats out there.. and thats all types of bikes..

YES . Bikers arent just the hairy arsed cruiser riders , so should cover 100 % of biking. Red Marley wasn't a trad rally or have a custom show but was in. So cover all . Couldnt we stick to a quarterly Harley mag supliment instead of putting them in the main mag , and we can stick em on the nail on the wall in our outside lavvy ........... sorted.
