Default cheapness much bargain

on ebay i spotted a gpz600 hardtail think ive seen it in a mag in the past

the guy who owns it has been told its a partial heat seizure by "a big hairy biker"

now the thing is it starts fine runs for a few seconds and cuts out...the guy leaves it a few minutes and it starts again, runs for a few seconds and cuts out again

now is it just me or does it sound like a fuel starvation problem rather than heat seizing......

no ones bidding on it as i think his write up has scared people off, could be worth looking at

the ebay number is 4609799562

dont ask me to post a link as i dont know how to

hey there, like you all i like this chop and a grand seems a fair price for it BUT call me paranoid or summin along those lines, the bloke kinda says in the advert that he knows feck all about bikes, but if you look at one of the side pics of the bike,on a side panel under the seat there is "bitz for bikes" in white letters, which to me looks like advertising for a business...if this bike is owned by him and he runs a bike bits business then surely if its a easy fix he would just sort it? sorry i always look at the worst side of stuff on evilbay, too many con merchants on there

Not being paranoid can lead to unnecesarily shortened life expectancy and/or unexpected shortage of cash!

the guy thats selling the bike bought it about a month or so ago, for £1000, hence the logo on the side of the bike, and hes now selling due to the problems

think I might have missed out on it to someone else on here, sadly my trailer has been lent to my mate with a van, for him and his family to go away on holiday with, hence not being able to collect for a bit

those gpz motors also suffer from insulation breakdown in the pickup coils., the motor starts and runs fine until the bottom end heats up, at which point the pickups die and the engine usually drops onto 2 cylinders. I have seen a coupe of motors do this, and its hard to diagnose without some good kit (which I have, obviously ) I have only ever seen one of the two pickups fail, but its not impossible that both could go.

His feedback's good.
Except for this, back in July; "stated engine was running, is not and still not also no v5."
Just check it's not a ripper.
Good looking bike though.
