Default Life On Mars

Did anyone else see the new drama on the Beeb last night '' Life on mars''? Best thing Ive seen on the telly for ages, weird but excellent. Basically a copper in 2006 gets knocked over and ends up waking up in 1973, I know it sounds weird, occasionally he can hear the doctors trying to talk to him but he's still in 1973, I know it'll sound weird if you didnt see it but I thought it was excellent

Anyone else see it?

yep - it was very good - maybe the BBC are getting their act together at last - but didn't the lead role (Sam) remind you of Martin Platt from corrie?

anyway - I normally get fed up very quickly with stuff like this - where the conclusion to the story gets dragged out (lost in space, the prisoner, the time tunnel, voyager, the fugitive etc) so I'm not sure how long I'll be enjoying it lol

Hmm....sounds am awful lot like the Philip.K.Dick novel "Ubik".

I hope the BBC are not stealing?

Anywho, I would've loved to have watched it.

Any repeats scheduled?

Just think it makes a change to see something a bit different on telly, Im bored of soaps and how to loose weight programes.
I also think lost is a bloody good series, got well into that, again its not your normal programe something a bit weird and it makes you think.

Excellent series that.

The stuff like Time Tunnel and Lost in Space went on forever and to me they got very dull very quickly.
