Exactly my point - you are lumping people who are extreamists in with those that just believe passionatly about something and will do something rather than just talk.
What is the best way to tell them apart?
Killing someone, hurting someone, threatening someone, using non-violent obstruction, informing investors what the company they are inversting in is doing, showing someone that you are very unhappy about what they are involved with, writing a letter to an MP, not buying curtain products, educating people about the facts, moaning, doing nothing.
Your line is in one place, my line maybe somewhere else.
If something IS wrong (no example here), but if something realy is wrong - is an extreamist someone who gets it sorted? Or do the means justify the ends?
Surly the law is what catagorises an extreamist - and if so, what happens when law makers change the law when a protest is working WITHIN the law before the law was changed - now what catagorises an extreamist?

Opinions and relevant stories please. I will be passing info onto my group and we aim to do something to try and change the justice for abused animals.

now i may be wrong, it wouldnt be the first time, but i read this as we think this is cruel, the law doesnt do anything so we will administer our own justice? am i way off the mark? or or is it the typical very veiled threat of the animal rights extreme? im not targeting you, but i wonder if i am readin those words in a different way to you, or anyone else?, and lets not forget his/her parting comment to, or about me,

well thats ok mate coz i will argue for britain if i believe in my opinion........maybe we should test the medicenes on him and shut him up for a while......bless 'im!!!
We may have both read it in different lights, That is the danger of the written word, it is difficult to read emotion into, or out of it.

I think we should test on humans instead of animals, after all, its for us that the testing is done as such we should pay the price. We should use scum like paedophiles etc though. Am i as bad as a Nazi? Probably. But then so are the people that test on animals, tit for tat i suppose. Yeah, i eat meat, buy from supermarkets, i know that animals are pumped full of drugs to keep us healthy and so we can have bigger joints of meat, i hate fox hunting and yet i dont, i hate cruel farmers but like good ones who look after their animals until they are turned into my Sunday dinner. I hate spineless peices of ****e that torture animals and kill them for pleasure yet i would be just as cruel if i caught them by making them suffer untold pain. I hate to see animals in cages for humans pleasure yet i have to guinea pigs in a hutch, its a 2 story though which they love (as far as i know, im no Dr Doolittle). I hate Eco terrorists, the mink thing etc mad me mad as fuck cause thats cruel to something else along the food line so to speak. I hate terrorists. If someone invaded my country i'd terrorise them until they got out same as if someone broke into my house, messed with my kids, hurt my missus etc etc.
It goes on and on and on. Were all just feckin hypocrites that like to moan about our lot, whatever that may be. I think the only thing the Human race is superior at is moving the goal posts every bloody time we need an excuse or need to justify ourselves, whatever bloody side yer on. The human race is ****.

hello it's me again....back for another round have just read in the newspaper bowt some twattish kids in Maidstone who have hacked off a horses tail and hung it in a tree!!!! not content with causing the horses excruiating pain, they then fed them sugar-beet which is highly poisonous to horses unless it is first soaked in water. The horse was in the field with her son and daughter and they too were maimed and poisoned. The mother has had to be put down, and the other two have been left with gauged legs, no tails and completely traumatised. What the fcuk is this world coming to eh?

basic summary of my views - animal testing OK as long as no other way. Animals must be in reasonable circumstances (and not punched for barking etc etc).
