Default New Harley Street

I've just been on the Harley website to look at the new Street 750.

They offer free test rides, no obligation, you just need to turn up with a license and biker gear..So I applied for a real test ride..

I offered to do an Iron Butt on the new 750 Street, they supply the bike and I will do the rest..

Sorry no bikes are available for Europe from the factory in India yet..

Still..They didn't say no..

John.

Looks a nice enough cruiser. Not sure if there is much point though if you compare it to the sportster. Be interesting to see the specs. They say it's aimed at a younger market. That rules me out

Default Baby-rod

for the "youthful commuter". Hmmm. I guess if Harley wants a rival to (say) the XJ600 type and wants to expand their reach beyond those who might want a sportster, then fair play to them. As a model to keep said customer buying Harleys, I think they might need to offer some sort of 'medium-rod' if they want to keep those who haven't come looking for a stepping stone into typical Harley ownership
