Default z550 with k&n filters

anyone know what jet sizes i need got a motad zorst and k&ns on a 1973 z550 just started it and its fine at tickover and over 3000 revs but dead in the middle

What jets has it got in at the moment? I could make suggestions about sizes all day but would prefer a reference point to start with.

Anyway.....

main jet is 90 pilot jet is 32 its got the old slide carbs on it thanks

Try a 115 main and follow Odies guide.
