You know those vinyl signs places?

Well they usually have a low tack vinyl.

Take 'em a picture of what you want, tell 'em how big you want it and they can scan the pic in, scale it and cut the masks for you.

Dead handy for lettering and the like.

I use the low tack vynil sheets for my masking, on really curved, or duble curved surfaces, ie roundy petrol tank you have to be careful, but with a little heat and work it will work fine

someone on here did a whole load of sheets of flames for me, that I cut and shut about to get just what I wanted, perfect to have sat around spare for the next paint job.

easy stick down, can be lifted and put back down several times to get the lineup right, never had any paint bleed under it, unless its lifted on a tight internal corner where I failed to notice, or failed to nick it with a scalpel and overlay it right

no expert but managed a half decent paint job on my tanks and rear muddy

if you want laquer in a can then I would totally recomend UPOL CLEAR#1

not cheap but its excellent

I put on a couple of dusty coats to get a grip coat as such, then you can really go to town with it, laying it real heavy, it will hold its shine and even before flat and polish it will look good.
