I hace no idea about trikes, but it looks good. The Susuki engines have a good reputation I believe. depends how the trike conversion was done and who by....

Looks ok but very dated. Seems to have been properly built but it's a lot of cash for summat that's going to need a re-vamp to get looking current. Just my humble opinion mind.

I understand what you say and agree that its gonna need some work, I sort of like its stance but ive asked for more pics of the back end and what the gearing is like, but he has not replied yet. I was thinking of offering about 2500 if its as good as it looks.

Thanks for your input too mate.

If it hasn't gone by the weekend give him a ring and go take a look, is the best thing you can do.

In that case you don't want to see it or need it. Geezer sounds dodgy if he isn't answering his phone. Best leave it and move on to the next one, when it comes up.

Yeah its strange when you start getting into a few questions about the build and gearing and suddenly all goes quiet lol.

when I asked how does the engine sound he said its a typical GS1100 but it doesn't have any untoward knocks that sort of swayed me.

But yeah I will keep looking and if I need any good advice I will give you folks a shout.

Cheers

Hi Again, its going well!! ive found one that I really like and have made an offer on it.... its a Honda VTX 1800 Trike built by BB Trikes 4 yrs ago, it looks very well built.

I am hoping it'll be mine by Sunday so I will post up some pics if all goes well this weekend.

Thanks for asking mate, and I will let you know how it goes

All gone well Hos, got the Trike, here's a few piccies of the beastie lol, it goes well and actually handles very well with very little if any head wobble, and its got a reverse gearbox, and being the Honda VTX1800 is got stump pulling stomp.

It was built by BB Customs 4yrs ago (sadly now folded) it looks very well built and the whole backend it powder coated.

Hope you guys like it! I know Trikes are not to everyone's taste but who can resist an 1800cc Fuel injected V Twin. oh and it sounds like Thunder ha ha.

Cheers lads & lassies.

That's very tasty mate
A good conversion and tbh I prefer the bike based trikes.
Now all you need is some good weather!

Is there anything needs to be done on it?

Hi Hos, I also like the Bike based Trikes as well especially when they are low, the only thing ive found a problem with was the cooling fan not running, so ive checked it out and the sensor is knackered so ive ordered one, it pulls like a steam train and has very little Vibes.
yeah just hope we do get some good weather and I'll give it a good run.
