performance bikes , i think, built a 750 bhp hyabusa to try and take a speed record the other year, so 500 bhp isnt a great deal. quite a few guys in straightliners are running over 500bhp road legal turbo busas now.

I must say riding in the traffic at those speeds is a bit stoopid, but if i had a bike like that, I would be enjoying it just the same.
Would like to see the speeds he was getting on the straights though, and yes, that bike needs matting..........................

tbh anything with that bhp thats not got a fairing is just knob waving. over 150mph youd be hard pushed to hang on, so dramatically increasing power whilst dramatically reducing the bikes ability to use it does seem like a bit of a futile exercise. and its not like busas are slow to begin with!!

Yep if you look at the speedo on the bike with the video it is reading around 270 KMH yes its quick but nothing remarkable. Most 1000cc bikes with only 130 bhp can do that.
It is the wind resistance that kills high speed on bikes this is why the 200mph is so hard to break!
I do agree its impresive hp but in reality its just a waste of money and reliability and would be a nightmare on tyres and chains if you tried to use the power fully. now if they put the hideous fairing back on and threw a nitrous kit at it that would be worth watching going up a drag strip.
