Default Frame Jig?

G'day lads
First post on this ere site and im after some advice on making up a frame jig for custom hardtails and the like im welder by trade so know my way round arc eye and flash burn and i spent my early years cutting up biycycles that then progressed onto hard tailing pitbikes but now im trying to do something a bit more road legal so it needs to be straight rake and tail in line and all that jazz anyone built a jig before or got some tips on how to do it?

Welcome to the forum Matey! Do us favour and fill out the user CP up on the left hand side there and tell us a bit about yourself like where you from and what bike you ride etc. Coz we is nosey like that and peeps here tend to help out better. There's some good chaps on here that may have an inkling on what you are on about....

Hello and welcome, never done it but i would look for a decent metal welding table, and jig it up so you can get everything aligned, along with a something adjustable to get steering head alignment and angle correct, add a decent bending machine and your away.

The hardest part would be initailly setting up the table with the alignment jigs etc.

IIRC there was an article in one of the bike mags last month about frame jigs, either 100% or BSH. I give my copies to my father in law when I've finished with them so I'll ask him to have a look.
