This tells you everything you need to know:

"perfect for someone who want a cheap and reliable track bike"

What is even more telling is the fact that there was only one bid and that was retracted.... Probably a mate to try and make somebody bid more....

If I remember rightly Swan matches were the red tipped variety that could be struck on any rough surface, so weren't classed as safety matches.

Feigning interest hey ? An olddddddd ebay trick.
I think most people know the R6 is a popular track bike.
I see it still has gravel rash on the fairing in places.

I'm not so sure you guys get it? .......... or is some of the irony going over my head?

Kevin Schwan(tz), late 80's and 90's racer
Swan sponsored Tommy Hill in 2011 in BSB with those colours, so no connection at all

Yeah I ought to remember that, as I found out how unsafe they were when I had a box in my jeans back pocket and turned round quick too close to the concrete wall! It was a rather tight pocket too and difficult to get things out of...... specially burning things!

Yes I knew that but in my heavy-handed way I was trying to indicate what you just said, that the colours were connected with Swans not Schwantz! It didn't work cos it wasn't funny and I even got the wrong kind of matches which is odd (see above) - but my excuse for everything is 'I'm old! '
