It's gobsmacking isn't it, what they are prepared to do to get past you. Granted you get slow drivers sometimes, but the people who annoy me are the ones who will do anything to overtake a slow driver. Overtaking on a blind bend, undertaking then overtaking...

I live in the country, and my daughter lives even further out in the country. It's a tourist area so we're well used to the ones who want to sight-see without parking up, and the ones who are scared of scratching their shiny cars on these horrible things called hedges cos they've never seen one before!

On my way to hers the other day (in the car) on the widest, straightest part of the road, I came up behind a car doing 40 - bit slow but I could live with that, till he slowed to 30. That was just silly! Then he kept going but pulled into the left as if he'd like me to overtake - well I'd have liked to overtake but that road as well as being straight has several blind summits and we were coming up to one, so I didn't.

Then we canme to the narrow bendy bit and he was down to 20, then oh my goodness there was a steep hill so he went down to 15!

I nearly cheered when he turned off into the car park on top of the hill cos if he hadn't, I would have!

Had a good one today. AUDI A3 .comes to a round about, three lanes goes in lane one which is first exit but carries on next round about dose the same only this time ignoring the police car with its blues and twos on coming from the left. Cop shakes his head and then thanks me for stopping. This stupid bitch didnt have a clue how to drive. At next roundabout she goes all the way round and back the way she came, not once did she indicate.

...And like the typical little bump victims they'll leave the cars on the road blocking everyone else's passage while they sort out nonsense.

I fucking hate motorists.

But yeah.... HAH!

Any slight knock now results in an ambulance being called for "whiplash"! Yeah right. Years ago I had the misfortune of bumping into the back of a fiesta in Guyhirn at the bridge. Everything was moving then the guy in front slammed his brakes on for no reason. I jammed mine on and the car just locked up on the greasy road and I slid into to the back of him. he had two teenagers and his mate in the car and they all complained of whiplash. the car wasn't even doing 10mph! that tied up two ambulances for the best part of an afternoon for no real reason! Ok, technically it was my fault, but the cause was his instigation. People are too eager to call in the emergency services nowadays just for the sniff of an insurance claim. That's been aggravated by the rise of the No Win no Fee solicitors that have crawled out of the woodwork. God knows how mush the little scroat got from my insurers!

It seems to me that a large percentage of bad driving nowadays is down to Audi owners. I like the cars, but can't stand the idiots inside.

My other pet hate is the prats who pass you on the motorway doing 90-100 in really wet conditions. Is it worth getting killed for a few extra minutes?

In their case, it'll probably be worth it!

However, it's all the other people that get involved as well:- the emergency services, the other victims, the relatives, etc, all have to deal with the consequences of their actions! So the inevitable answer is no!
