Default lighting for msva

hi i have fitted twin headlights to my trike which is over 1700 wide, so they are the right distance from the outer edge of the body, i have fixed them on the end of booms which are connected to the forks so when i turn the bars the headlights go with them, it has passed mot but i am just checking for the msva if that is ok or should they be fixed to the body so they stay level, cant seem to find anything to say one way or the other got the test for 3 sep
