Default petrol gauge

looking to fit one a them see through gauges on the outside and down the side of the tank on my little triumph.anyone know what I need before I go looking. buddy has fittings but they are for 10mm id pipe which i cant find and think is too big looking anyway. But dont know what the fittings are called or where to get adapters to weld to tank etc. thanks

Wouldn't a 90 degree greese nipple do the same job as for a weld in adapter a nut that fits the thread and just put some plumbers tape on the threads when tighten, I'm doing one of those fuel gauges but took it a little further

naw just want clear hose and fittings. trouble is knowing what you want and getting it to work are totally different. seen it on bikes before but of course cant find pics when i need em
