Sticking a proper bike engine in a scooter has been pissing people off for many years.

This one went down the drag strip- at the bulldog.( late 80's early 90's? ) It's got a GPZ11 motor shoe horned into it. Unguided Missile they called it

Default just built this drz 400 scooter this as pised the mods off

Hi,
Nothing wrong with scooters---beats walking any day. I had a Lambretta 175 series 3 back in the 60's, which could PISS ALL OVER a FannyB, Bantam, James, etc. I regularly used to scrape either side when cornering- and if you were to lay bike over till it touched the deck, the bloody thing would be nigh on horizontal. Sod all to do with small wheels. Wouldn't dare do that with a Vespa though--wanted to live longer. . A Lamby has a chain final drive too, but internal, so never will have to change it. The Lamby also was the FIRST two wheeled commercially made machine to have a front disk brake--back in 1962.
Since then I have owned 3x Z250, 2x Z650, Z400J, Z500, Z550 Ltd, 3 GT750, Z1R-not in that order . Oh, and a 200 Benly-brilliant little bike--and a CJ250 T Hon, less said about that the better.
Rant over
Greg
